This role works within the Operations Business Partnering team, which is responsible for ensuring that Chaucer captures, processes, reports and controls business data correctly and efficiently. The Team also has responsibility for managing third party business partners involved in these data management processes. This is an entry-level operations position that would suit someone interested in building an operations career in UK financial services.
Job DescriptionDaily monitoring of dedicated mailbox ensuring all queries are answered within SLA
KPI/CRM monitoring
Completion of daybook entries and Wizards where necessary
Attaching slips in main workflow system and data enrichment
Checking Charisma entries, investigating anomalies and reporting on quality
Co-ordinating exception reports and addressing issues using RCA
Close liaison with Business Partners and Velonetic technicians
General maintenance of policy history, which involves organisation and filing
Completion of pricing models
Preparing and distributing weekly reports to other departments
Assist in the maintenance, review and updates to Business Partner procedure manuals
Preparation of materials and attendance meetings as required by the Business Partner
Answering queries from Chaucer’s outsourcing team
Supporting Underwriting teams in daily tasks
Debt analysis
Liaison with other departments such as Reinsurance, Exposure Management & Compliance Support UAT as required
Support ad hoc requests from the Head of Operations Business Partnering
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate level)
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Capable of meeting deadlines and working to schedules when required
High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy
Previous experience in general office administration
GCSE Maths and English grade B or above or equivalent
Minimum of 5 other GCSE’s grade C or above
3 A-Levels grade C or above or equivalent
