Job Description SummaryWe’re looking for a strategic marketer with a strong background in customer-centric communications and digital marketing. In this role, you’ll lead the development and execution of annual marketing plans that align with our UKI strategy and business goals. You’ll be responsible for delivering impactful marketing activities – including: omnichannel campaigns, events, Key Opinion Leader strategies, content creation, and lead generation—all aimed at driving market growth and reinforcing GE HealthCare’s position as a leading brand in Ultrasound.
This is a pivotal role in shaping and executing the Ultrasound marketing strategy across the UK & Ireland. You’ll bring deep market insight, understanding of key stakeholders, and a proactive approach to awareness and promotional initiatives that accelerate market development and support sales funnel growth across diverse customer segments. As Ultrasound Marketing Manager UKI, you’ll collaborate closely with sales, service, and marketing teams—both within Ultrasound and across broader GE HealthCare functions at country, regional, and international levels. You’ll act as a key resource and coordinator for a wide range of initiatives, spanning both digital and traditional marketing channels.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities
  • In correspondence with the Ultrasound commercial leadership team, define, drive, support and execute go-to market strategies enabling further business growth across the UK&I & segments.

  • Own the strategy and execution of omnichannel campaigns and project management across all segments, including external agency collaborations and internal digital marketing colleagues.

  • Develop and execute targeted marketing and sales campaigns focused on the existing installed base (IB), drive lead generation efforts aimed at converting competitor IB, and launch awareness and engagement initiatives to reach new customers and support business growth.

  • Work with Regional and International teams to formulate and cascade targeted value propositions by customer type/segment, adapted by country as needed, and in sync with the different ultrasound segments (e.g. cardiovascular, point of care) and channels involved. Define the customer journey.

  • End to end management of key congress and events.

  • Analyse and monitor key Marketing metrics and develop/execute specific actions where needed to improve performance.

  • Overall marketing budget responsibility including budget planning and execution.

  • Turn strategies into action. Strong operational and executional capabilities, hands-on attitude.

  • Develop and drive launch activities of new products introductions and software releases.

  • Monitor trends in social media and other digital tools and drive digital activities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant business experience

  • Extensive experience working in a matrix environment with multi-functional teams.

  • Strong knowledge on digital marketing: campaign management, search, social, content development and analytics.

  • Good understanding in marketing automation tools (Marketo), Salesforce, Adobe creative suite or similar.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English.

  • Excellent time management with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Desirable Skills
  • Preferred (not mandatory) experience in healthcare industry.

  • Preferred (not mandatory) experience in B2B Marketing.

  • Preferred (not mandatory) experience working in a matrix environment with multi-cultural teams.

  • Data analysis, reporting and business intelligence, emphasis on digital marketing analytics.
