Role Overview
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with a front-end focus, you’ll be responsible for crafting intuitive, high-performance applications that directly engage our users. You’ll work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to shape interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also functionally robust.
Your deep expertise in modern front-end technologies—coupled with a solid understanding of full stack development—will allow you to lead projects from concept to launch, ensuring that every interaction on our platform is seamless and impactful.
What you will be working on:
- Build, optimise and scale products and services for cafe owners, vendors and coffee drinkers. They have a lot of autonomy in the implementation of these critical services — we value results over process.
- Prototype new ideas and iterate fast towards the best customer experience for cafes and users.
- Interact with the stakeholders of our products such as Product, Design, Marketing and Operations.
- Serve as a technical resource and engineering mentor for other developers.
Who we are looking for:
Essential:
- 6-9 years of software engineering and/or equivalent professional experience
- Proven expertise in Typescript/Javascript, React Native/Web, AWS, CI/CD, distributed application architecture
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills comfortable working with product and design functions
- Experience in technology startups with a track record of delivering scalable, mission-critical production applications
Desirable:
- Familiarity with Ruby/Rails, Federated GraphQL, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, Netsuite and Vue.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- A passion for continuous learning and professional development.
