ETFs present a major opportunity to package our strategies, complementing existing capabilities offered through mutual funds and mandates. Launching our ETF capability in 2024 is a strategic priority for Robeco and we are establishing a specialist team to allow us to realise this ambition.

Position & Requirements

The UK Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting our ETF products to UK clients, creating awareness of this new capability and driving sales.

Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with UK Wholesale Sales team and UK Marketing Manager, develop an appropriate sales and marketing strategy to build awareness of Robeco ETFs.

  • Leverage knowledge of ETF client base to identify and prioritise target clients in order to achieve both activity-based and revenue-based targets.

  • Conduct client meetings, sales presentations and educational seminars to inform clients and build awareness of Robeco ETFs.

  • Provide market intelligence and training on our ETF products and capability to sales teams, empowering them to support the growth of this business line.

  • Support ETF sales activities in other markets as needed.

  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor products/positioning and regulatory developments relevant to ETFs. Ensure that Robeco ETFs continue to be positioned favourably.

  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure that appropriate materials are available to support ETF sales.

  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on client needs and market demand.

  • Keep CRM systems up to date and ensure that appropriate information is available to support sales reporting and forecasts.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in an ETF Sales role, with a focus on the UK market.

  • Detailed knowledge of ETF client base in the UK, and ideally across other European markets.

  • Strong client relationships and a proven track record of achieving sales targets and new business development.

  • Detailed understanding of ETF products and market landscape.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

  • High levels of motivation and resilience. Ability to bring an entrepreneurial mindset to developing this new capability with an established and successful asset manager.
