Design swimwear built for movement, confidence and performance in the water

At Speedo, product has to do more than look good. It has to move with the swimmer, feel comfortable in the water and support performance, confidence and freedom of movement, whether someone is training, competing, learning or simply enjoying the swim.

As UK Marketing Manager for Speedo, you will lead the marketing function in one of our key EMEA markets. You’ll lead integrated marketing, experiential community activations, and wholesale partnerships, championing cross-functional collaboration to deliver best‑in‑class consumer experiences. You will support the brand’s presence and performance in the UK, by translating global strategy into locally resonant campaigns that drive consideration, engagement, and commercial success.

This role is pivotal in shaping Speedo’s market leadership and requires a strategic thinker, a strong collaborator, and a bold brand champion.

This role has a start date of the 1st February 2027.

What you’ll be doing:

Strategy & Integrated Marketing

  • Support the Head of EMEA Marketing in developing and delivering “Glocal” strategies that align global direction with UK market needs, driving cultural relevance for Speedo and the broader swim category.

  • Lead the UK integrated marketing plan, adapting global strategies into impactful UK activations across retail, digital, PR, experiential and community channels. Define KPIs, measure performance, and provide strategic insights and optimisations to senior leadership.

  • Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Product, Creative, Sports Marketing, Merchandising, E‑commerce and Global Brand teams to deliver cohesive, effective 360° campaigns.

Community, PR & Experiential

  • Lead UK experiential and community activations from concept through to execution in partnership with Social and Community teams and external PR agencies, delivering disruptive and culturally relevant brand moments. Analyse activations using KPIs such as EMV, share of search and engagement.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the UK media and creative landscape to inform partnerships, cultural opportunities and best‑in‑class experiences.

  • Manage PR agency relationships, shaping earned media strategy, reviewing talent/creator proposals, and ensuring UK relevance and KPI delivery.

  • Partner with Sports Marketing and Social and Community teams to create experiential, engaging activations that drive cultural relevance for our swim consumers, inclusive of our partnership with AGB Federation and team Speedo athletes.

Retail Marketing

  • Evolve how we work with wholesale retail partners to deliver both brand and commercial success through activations that are truly consumer-minded and grounded in category leadership.

  • Lead UK retail marketing execution, including go‑to‑market planning, visual merchandising, in‑store storytelling, seasonal campaigns and digital retail content.

  • Build strong relationships with key retail partners to enhance brand visibility, improve shopper experience and drive sell‑through.

  • Support of seasonal go to market trade launches with our Partner Marketing team, including management of our two UK showrooms.

Insights & Consumer Understanding

  • Partner with Insights and cross‑functional teams to lead analysis of consumer behaviour, shopper data, category trends and competitor activity.

  • Act as the UK consumer advocate, embedding insights into brand planning, retail execution and campaign strategy to elevate the full shopper experience.

Reporting, Budget & Content Management

  • Monitor campaign and retail performance across KPIs such as sales uplift, footfall, digital engagement and ROI. Deliver structured reporting and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.

  • Provide direction on content needs across PR, social and retail, ensuring seamless brand storytelling and alignment between creative and community teams.

  • Own and manage the UK retail marketing budget, ensuring efficient investment, strong ROI and alignment with commercial plans and product launches.

What you’ll bring:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

  • Experience in marketing, ideally within sports, apparel, or consumer goods.

  • Proven track record of contributing to marketing teams and delivering impactful campaigns. Ideally experience working with, or for key retail partners.

  • Visual merchandising experience is a bonus.

  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate global brand vision into local execution.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Data-driven mindset with experience in campaign analysis and performance optimisation.

  • A genuine passion for marketing and the Speedo brand, with a strong desire to learn, grow, and make an impact in a dynamic, international environment
