Job Title: UK Marketing - Contractor 

Reporting to: VP Business Development (UK Based).. but with dotted lines into the US-based marketing teams

Location: UK Remote (with some travel within the UK required)

1 Year FTC with opportunity for permanent full-time

Salary: £45k - £55k

Role Overview:

In this role, you will leverage your multidisciplinary marketing expertise to interpret and deliver global brand strategies to resonate with UK audiences. Your work will span across public relations, community engagement, and influencer marketing, requiring creativity, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset. From building meaningful relationships with influencers to driving community-focused initiatives, you’ll be instrumental in strengthening our presence and growing our impact in the UK market.

Key Responsibilities:

Trade Marketing (40% of role)

  • Plan and execute trade campaigns to drive brand awareness and increase sales in retail channels. This will include activating Influencer, Community and PR to support business objectives.
  • Work with regional Account Managers to support the briefing process for retail  campaigns, including (but not limited to) social, PDP assets, and in store collateral. Work closely in Wrike to ensure deliverables. 
  • Partner with creative teams to develop impactful materials and collateral in line with brand guidelines. 
  • Present Trade Marketing plans within internal cross-functional campaign planning meetings.
  • Own the UK marketing calendar; including Influencer, Community, PR and Retail initiatives. 

Influencer (20% of role)

  • As the UK arm, you will identify and cultivate relationships with UK-based influencers aligned with Bubble’s values and vision.
  • Support on the UK influencer strategy (such as identifying key cohorts and setting market KPIs).
  • Oversee influencer seeding and campaigns from pitch to performance analysis, ensuring impactful storytelling and measurable results.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to align influencer activities with broader marketing goals.

Community (15% of role)

  • Partner with the US-based centralized community team to implement global community strategies in the UK market.
  • Act as the UK community point of contact, fostering engagement through localized content, social interactions, and timely responses.
  • Gather insights from the UK community to inform broader brand and product decisions.

PR Support (10% of role)

  • Be the liaison between the global comms team and Bubble’s UK PR agency to drive brand awareness, visibility and relevance in the UK market in line with brand objectives.
  • Support the creation and distribution of press materials, media pitches, and event coordination.
  • Digest media and press reports from the UK PR agency and share actionable insights with the global marketing team.

Experiential Marketing (5% of role)

  • Assist the Director Creative and Experiential Production (UK based) in ideating and delivering on-the-ground activations and events tailored for the UK audience.
  • Coordinate with local vendors and ensure experiential efforts align with brand standards.
  • Percent allocation of role to be higher during experiential events. 

Analysis (10% of role)

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth.
  • Utilize insights to make data-driven decisions and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Support on overall budget and spend tracking for initiatives. Provide regular reports and insights to management on the effectiveness of campaigns and recommend adjustments as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 4–6 years of marketing experience, specifically in the UK market (Boots experience preferred)
  • Proven expertise in trade marketing, influencer marketing, PR, and community engagement.
  • Excellent at creating and delivering briefs.
  • Experience collaborating with agencies and cross-functional, international teams.
  • Strong understanding of the UK media landscape, influencer ecosystem, and social trends.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized and proactive, with a creative, solutions-focused mindset.

Some flexibility will be required with US timezones (EST).

While this role is remote, occasional travel and in person meetings will be required within the UK (approx 4-6 times per month depending on events or key meetings).
