Position & Requirements

The UK Country Marketing Manager will be responsible for the execution of Robeco’s marketing strategy in the UK. This role will focus on driving brand awareness, client engagement, and business growth with Wholesale distributors and Institutional clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of executing impactful marketing strategies, and a deep understanding of the UK market.

Key responsibilities
 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan that aligns with Robeco’s global marketing strategy and business priorities.  Effectively supporting the achievement of the broader company objective.
  • Build and execute marketing campaigns and key initiatives that enhance brand recognition and grow familiarity with Robeco’s investment strategies in the market.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including broader Marketing, Sales, PR teams Investments and Compliance to drive and execute a cohesive marketing approach.
  • Events: Plan and manage an effective event program, including conferences, sponsorships, roadshows, and webinars in alignment with commercial priorities.
  • Paid Media: Plan and manage media campaigns in the UK in collaboration with the media agency.
  • Content: Collaborate with the Investment Marketing Team to create and maintain thought leadership content, marketing collaterals, and regional-specific materials that resonate with target audiences.
  • Public Relations: Partner with the PR team and external agency to ensure alignment and consistency of all external communications, amplifying Robeco’s reputation and visibility.
  • Social media: Collaborate with the Social Media manager to tailor content to the UK needs.
  • Budget: Oversee and manage the country budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize ROI and deliver results in line with business priorities.
  • KPIs/Reporting: Continuously monitor and report the effectiveness of marketing activities and campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement, with a “data driven” mindset.
  • Compliance: Stay abreast of regional regulatory requirements and work closely with the Global & UK Compliance team to ensure adherence to marketing standards.

Required experience and skillset
 

  • 6-9 years of relevant experience in channel marketing, in the UK asset management and/or financial services industry, with a proven ability to execute across the full marketing mix.
  • Strong strategic planning abilities combined with analytical skills to measure and assess marketing performance.
  • Experience in managing country specific marketing responsibilities within a global team structure, while also being able to work independently and take ownership of key initiatives.
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to the asset management industry.
