About the Role
As a UI/UX Designer at SAPI, you will play a crucial role in enhancing user satisfaction by improving the usability and accessibility of our digital platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and engaging user experiences that align with our business goals and client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
- Create and iterate on wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
- Design user interfaces that are visually appealing, functional, and consistent with SAPI's brand identity.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate user needs and feedback into effective design solutions.
- Create and maintain design systems and UI component libraries to ensure consistency across applications.
- Work on optimising existing user interfaces by incorporating user feedback and analytics data.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design, ensuring that designs are innovative and user-centred.
- A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, interaction design, or a related field.
- Solid experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a fintech or tech environment.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar software.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design process, including user research, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
- Solid understanding of user-centred design principles and best practices for responsive and interactive design.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly to stakeholders.
- Experience with usability testing and incorporating user feedback into design iterations.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Fully flexible working hours - Our core hours are 11am to 4pm, but outside of these you decide if you thrive AM or PM
