About the Role
As a founding UI/UX Frontend Engineer you will be working on a highly technical interface for deploying AI systems, where the target audience will be developers, so a good background in software engineering will be highly useful as part of understanding your user.
You’ll take ownership of building and iterating on functional prototypes for potential customer use cases, ensuring seamless end-to-end integration across the stack. Additionally, you’ll work closely with our research team to create interactive interfaces that bring agentic systems to life.
📍 This is an onsite role based in our London office (66 City Rd).
Your Focus
- Own the first impressions and technical storytelling for a new developer-facing product.
- Design and implement intuitive, responsive UI for complex systems.
- Build, test, and iterate on functional prototypes based on real user needs.
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product leads to turn ideas into polished features.
- Create and maintain reusable frontend components and design systems.
- Debug performance issues and run A/B tests to continuously improve UX.
About You
- Excellent at translating complex ideas into simple, usable UI.
- Proficient in TypeScript and React.
- Passionate about seamless design and building products with an excellent developer experience.
- Comfortable prototyping quickly and shipping production-ready code.
- Experience working on machine learning and/or AI projects is a plus.
- Experience building scalable, responsive web apps, including RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work across diverse teams.
- Bonus: experience with Rust.
