Location: Portbury - Bristol

Shift Available: Monday–Friday, 10:00-19:00 (flexibility required)
Salary: £31,600 per annum.

The Role

Supporting the Transport Manager, you’ll help ensure our transport operation runs safely, compliantly, and efficiently. Key responsibilities include:

Transport Operations & Compliance

  • Driver allocation, wages, holidays and daily monitoring.

  • Ensuring compliance with Lineage driving hours, WTD and drivers’ hours legislation.

  • Managing overspeeds, driving hours, missing mileage, defects, and infringements (including debriefs).

  • Carrying out driver debriefs, reviewing RTD hours, daily checks, missing data, Tacho vs. defect app, repeat issues, DWAC alerts/minutes, and more.

  • Maintaining system data across Aquarius, FleetManager, Tacho Web, and keeping vehicle files at 15 months.

Fleet & Vehicle Administration

  • Booking vehicle inspections/MOTs and managing defects.

  • Printing, scanning, and filing service sheets; updating the service board.

  • Completing vehicle camera checks and reporting faults.

  • Ordering and recording site fuel; processing P/Os and Workday orders (fuel, fleet, uniforms).

Incident & Safety Management

  • Reporting RTAs and near misses; completing incident reports and accident debriefs.

People Management

  • Supporting staff training and daily management.

  • Managing absence and RTWs.

  • Assisting with investigations and Q&A documentation.

Collaboration

  • Working closely with colleagues across the transport network to deliver excellent customer service.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experienced in transport supervision is ideal, but full training will be given to the right candidate.

  • CPC qualified or willing to work towards your CPC if not held.

  • Strong attention to detail and thorough compliance knowledge.

  • Confident communicator with good organisational skills.

  • Comfortable working to deadlines and managing multiple tasks.

  • IT-confident, especially in Excel, Word and Outlook.

  • A positive, proactive team-player with a can-do attitude.
