We are now seeking a Transport Planner / Traffic Engineer to join our growing Transport & Mobility team.

The Opportunity

As a Transport Planner / Traffic Engineer, you’ll support the planning, design and delivery of a wide range of transport and infrastructure projects—from active travel and public realm improvements to highway schemes, rail interfaces, and major mobility upgrades.

You’ll play a key role in shaping sustainable transport solutions and will have opportunities to build strong client relationships and grow within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare transport engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret transport and traffic data
  • Support feasibility studies, assessments, and early‑stage design
  • Contribute to the design and evaluation of engineering solutions
  • Assist with monitoring construction and improvement works
  • Undertake inspections under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Support project delivery, contract coordination, and client engagement
  • Apply continuous improvement and digital tools to enhance project outcomes
  • Maintain awareness of current standards, technology trends, and regulations
What You Bring
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning, or related field
  • 3–6 years of experience in transport or traffic engineering
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with industry design tools
  • Confident communicator with stakeholder engagement experience
  • Ability to navigate complex information and contribute to sound engineering decisions
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for innovation and problem solving
  • Experience supporting junior team members is advantageous
