Job DescriptionThis role is based in our 240 Blackfriars Office, London.
Programme Ownership: Act as the primary point of contact and assume overall responsibility for Transformation Programmes, ensuring all specified requirements and outcomes are achieved. Current programmes of work include CRM, ERP and MarTech functionality. The programme will sit within a Transformation Management Office (TMO) which acts as a single point of focus for Transformation delivery.
Transformational Change Leadership: Possess prior experience leading significant transformation programmes, with a focus on people change, learning, and development.
Dependency Management: Collaborate with programme peers and the Programme Director to manage dependencies and ensure successful change embedding within the wider transformation portfolio.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with and manage stakeholders across the organisation, up to C-Suite, with experience working with diverse professional profiles, such as journalists, marketers, salespeople, product managers, and data scientists.
Strategic Oversight & Detailed Execution: Balance day-to-day project execution with maintaining the strategic direction of the programme.
Workstream Management: Oversee multiple concurrent workstreams, managing associated risks/issues and providing regular updates.
Structure in Unstructured Environments: Introduce structure and rhythm into unstructured environments while fostering innovation.
Development of Self-Organising Teams: Promote the creation and implementation of self-organising team structures, leaving a sustainable legacy post the transformation programme.
Balancing Predictability and Adaptability: Act as a bridge between senior leaders seeking predictable outcomes and programme teams needing to remain highly adaptable and responsive.
Agile Expertise: Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including understanding Agile Ceremonies and their application in non-software development environments.
Continuous Evaluation and Adaptation: Encourage a culture of regular programme evaluations, "temperature checks", and support course corrections to best meet the needs of the markets and ensure the change is embedding successfully.
Qualifications- Experience leading complex transformation programmes involving cultural and behavioural changes.
- Experience with sales, marketing, and editorial teams in product and audience development.
- Proven ability to adopt and apply an Agile mindset, tools, and ways of working.
- Capacity to handle ambiguity, adapt to change, and maintain stakeholder confidence in delivery.
- Demonstrable experience with cross-functional teams, resolving blockers, and encouraging a self-organising mindset.
- Exceptional communicator, adept at navigating dynamic creative personalities, and skilled in engaging with C-Suite executives.
- Familiarity with ADKAR or similar change management models (desirable).
