We are seeking a talented and experienced Transfer Pricing Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Head of Transfer Pricing, this role offers the opportunity to lead critical projects, develop robust transfer pricing strategies, and ensure compliance with global regulations. The role will focus on providing strategic transfer pricing support to the business units, Supply Chain and other functions, across compliance, controversy, policy and implementation, as well as ensuring operational transfer pricing processes are completed and robust.
Key responsibilities:
- To manage key projects linked to TP policy and implementation that arise on and hoc basis. These could include Advance Pricing Agreements, IP transfers, collaborating with BD to successfully execute BD projects, work with Operational TP to improve TP charging processes, execution of integrations or divestments, etc.
- Test, review and signoff outputs of transfer pricing processes executed by the operational tax team (profitability reviews, intercompany service charging, etc.) and transfer pricing documentation reports.
- Lead on transfer pricing aspects of local tax audits in territories across the globe. This could include data gathering, writing and / or presenting responses to tax authorities in territories across the globe.
- To diagnose root causes of transfer pricing issues, and design and implement solutions in partnership with the business.
- To understand the supply chain, R&D and commercial operations of the business, partner with the business to understand pressure points when set against Tax and TP constraints and propose solutions to achieve the best results for the group.
Required / Preferred Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelors / Masters degree
- ACA or CTA qualified (preferred)
- Tax and Transfer pricing experience (min 4 years), in house or at Big 4 practice
- Excellent communication skills
- High proficiency in financial analysis / modelling
A strong candidate for the role will have knowledge and experience of tax and transfer pricing issues, in order to better understand the principles underpinning the transfer pricing policies and processes undertaken by the TP team.
The role requires excellent organisation and communication skills. The projects that will be managed by the TP Manager will be varied and involve building working teams in quick time, working with a wide range of teams. The successful candidate would have to build a strong network across the business, tapping into, building and leveraging from skills in order that highly complex analytical work can be explained in an effective manner.
