POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Training Program Specialist 2 independently develops and delivers training materials for both training and Certificate programs. This role is responsible for creating training course materials, handling administrative tasks, collaborating and developing on the program strate gy, and assisting in the development and maintenance of the train-the-trainer program. This role will also be responsible for assisting in key program components such as conducting needs assessments, evaluating program effectiveness, creating new program storyboards, and determining unique ways to continuing expanding the program and keeping all programs relevant and up-to-date.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development and deliver training program course content for employees and customers.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of Certification programs in partnership with Senior Leadership and Learning Strategists.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of Certification programs in partnership with Senior Leadership and Learning Strategists.
  • Content: Assist in the development and maintainance of content for certification and education courses, including written materials, multimedia assets, and exams, as needed. This involves ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and relevance of the content to meet the learning objectives of the courses. Content created will be for both instructor-led and self-paced courses.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from testimonials and user feedback to continually improve all content.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation in our programs.
  • Stay current on Enverus product knowledge, understanding features, functions, and user application.
  • Support the scheduling and coordination of training programs and maintain records of attendees.
  • Assist in the train-the-trainer program by conducting facilitator training sessions and ongoing mentorship of facilitators, keeping all facilitator guidebooks updated.
  • Handle the coordination, scheduling, and preparation of all training programs for the faciliators.
  • Identify training program needs by conducting surveys, needs analysis, user interviews, and data analysis.
  • Cross-collaborate with SME, product, and CS teams in course content creation. Bring all content created into a robust cirriculum framework for the course strategy,.
  • Platform Expertise: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Enverus solutions including technical specifications, functionalities, and updates.
  • Identify and implement innovative learning techniques, such as gamification, simulations, and hands-on labs, to improve learner engagement. Foster a continuous learning environment by designing courses that engage and motivate learners at different stages of their careers.
  • Lead and instruct both virtual and in-person technical training courses with our customers and internal teams, as needed
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to coordinate and define material creation, provide guidance on content design, and ensure that all platform-related educational content is accurate, up-to-date, and meets the needs of both internal stakeholders and customers.


ROLE COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

  • Experience in technical role creating training programs in SaaS companies, preferred.
  • Strong understanding of user experience principles and instructional design methods
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficieny in content design tools
  • Knowledge of LMS systems, required
  • Strong problem solving and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.
  • Knowledge of Instructional and Curriculum Design methodologies, required


REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

  • Bachelor's degree in either: Program Management, Ciriculum Design, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or other related field. OR, an energy related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in related role.
  • Certifications or training program management, preferred
  • Experience using an LMS, preferred
  • Experience using a CRM, preferred


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to sit for long periods, work on a computer with repetitive motions and utilize devices typically found in an office environment.
  • Able to safely lift up to 35 pounds at a time using safe lifting techniques.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  • Ability to work in an office environment as required.
  • Travel requirements: 10-15% or as required for company needs
