The Training Lead is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and organizational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities:
Program Development:
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive training programs that support organizational goals, local regulations and directives and process specific expert knowledge.
- Deploy training center for the local plant team and business functions (DOJO concept) as pilot program for the organization
Needs Analysis:
- Assess learning and development needs through surveys, interviews, and performance metrics. Deploy the hard and soft skill requirements per individual job code and role. Gap analysis between expectation and delivery.
Content Creation:
- Develop engaging training materials, manuals, and e-learning resources as well as VR material.
Facilitation:
- Lead workshops, seminars, and virtual training sessions for diverse employee groups.
- Participate gemba walks with the plant leadership team to gather up to date production and process information
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor training staff, ensuring ongoing professional development.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with department managers and HR to tailor training solutions and measure outcomes.
Evaluation:
- Analyze feedback and training metrics to continuously improve program effectiveness.
Reporting:
- Prepare and present progress and impact reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master's degree or certification such as ATD or CPTD is advantageous). Alternatively, 10+ years experience in a food industrial environment in production in continuous improvement with strong process, compliance and safety knowledge.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in training design, delivery, or learning management.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Expertise with LMS, virtual training platforms, and digital content authoring tools.
- Advanced communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset for data-driven decision-making and program improvement.
- Proven agility in adapting training strategies for a diverse and potentially remote/hybrid workforce
- Fluency in German is required
- English on business level; additional languages such as French, or Dutch is a plus.
