What’s the role about?
You'll be joining our Menswear Design department as a Trainee Designer. You'll be assisting with creating seasonal collections and be a key support function across the entire menswear department.
Who you are
- Experience working in a design studio is highly desirable
- Graduated in Fashion Design with great knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop
- Good knowledge of Excel and strong organisational skills
- Team player, keen to learn and build a career in menswear design
- Creative with a good eye for colour and taste, aligned with Reiss aesthetics
- Experience creating tech packs for factories is desirable
What you’ll be doing
- Creating all relevant details sketches, CAD designs and colourways for specs and presentations
- Responsible for or assisting in the creation of all spec packs
- All correct sketch, measurement and construction detail for best factory understanding
- Researching into seasonal directions and trends suitable for Reiss aesthetics
- Assisting team to meet all deadlines and to deliver protos for pre buy
- Assisting in making the samples ready for the buy
- Assisting the team in design board creation for presentation standards
