What you'll do
In this key role, we’ll look to you to support the stewardship, strategy and governance of the fixed income and CMU businesses within trading across the various dimensions, including front to back, clients, financials, risk management, controls, and people.
You’ll also be coordinating the strategic delivery and planning of projects on behalf of the business, in conjunction with appropriate stakeholders and business partners, which should cover new products and services, as well as impacts from regulatory changes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with support functions in reviewing operational activities to make sure the business is operating efficiently in a controlled environment in compliance with applicable policies and regulations
- Collaborating with peer product business managers and product area business managers to share knowledge and ensure a consistency and efficient approach and delivery in the respective regions and products
- Working closely with trading & flow sales and COO teams on relevant policy reviews, including implementation, as well as issues or projects impacting multiple business lines
- Driving control and governance activities to make sure material risks are mitigated properly, control gaps are highlighted and appropriate actions are taken
The skills you'll need
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Having relevant product knowledge would be an advantage, although it’s not essential.
You’ll also need:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task
- An analytical approach to resolution management
- The ability to take ownership and accountability in leading projects and initiatives for the business
