About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer with expertise in Azure Cloud and Agile methodologies to ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of testing frameworks, processes, and strategies and will be pivotal in coordinating, developing, and executing test plans across various workstreams.


Test Planning and Strategy:

  • Review functional requirements to define test conditions and objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans aligned with project goals.
  • Design and document test cases and scripts based on business requirements.

Coordination and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with project managers, product owners, and workstream leads to align testing activities.
  • Coordinate integration and user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support team members in testing best practices and methodologies.

Test Execution:

  • Set up and manage test environments for seamless test execution.
  • Execute and oversee test cycles using Azure DevOps (ADO) Test Plan to manage activities and execution.
  • Monitor defect management processes, ensuring timely resolution and accurate reporting.

Automation and Framework Design:

  • Design and implement automation frameworks to support testing activities across multiple workstreams.
  • Drive the adoption of automation to improve efficiency and test coverage.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare detailed test execution reports for stakeholders.
  • Define and document testing procedures, processes, and defect management practices.

Resource Management:

  • Allocate testing resources effectively to meet project timelines.
  • Coordinate test execution timelines to ensure alignment with project deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing test strategies, plans, and cases.
  • Expertise in Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative workflows.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and executing automated and manual tests.
  • Familiarity with integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Solid knowledge of defect management processes and tools.
