Fractal is looking to support a large insurance client with a migration from legacy systems which would involve large-scale data migration of different modules. The role is based out of UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Strong experience in defining QA approach for large enterprise data migration programs. Proven ability to collaborate/coordinate/navigate in a multi-vendor setup to ensure success of the program. Be not only management-focused but also be able to provide technical leadership to testing team by being a “hands-on test lead” using SQL and related data-management / ETL tools. Demonstrate track-record of supporting success of large programs by managing testing process in alignment with program leadership – raising risks/issues at the right time, work across supporting teams to remove blockers to testing, define appropriate strategies/approaches for specific testing needs.

Technical requirements:

  • Insurance domain experience ideally for claims transformation programmes.

  • 8+ years of experience in Testing projects managing medium-sized test teams for large programs.

  • Knowledge of Python, Pytest, and other common tools used for data testing automation (automating data ingestion, validation, mapping, data reconciliation, historic/incremental loads, etc.).

  • Experience in defining test approach and test plan for large data migration programs.

  • Experience in test estimation, test resource planning, and test plan/schedule management.

  • Experience in managing and navigating large multi-vendor programs while keeping focus on critical areas. Excellent coordination and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to collaborate with engineering, support teams, and business users to achieve successful program delivery.

  • Ability to work with client leadership in defining key objectives, highlighting issues/risks, and tracking them for progress and closure.

  • Thorough knowledge of testing and defect management lifecycle.

  • Contribute to test automation frameworks where applicable.

  • Extensive knowledge of SQL for testing and analysis as part of enterprise data migration programs.
