Due to Veeam’s success and growth within the Education market, we are looking to expand our team focused on this key vertical. Veeam is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Manager to focus on Education and Higher Education accounts, including schools, colleges, and universities. This role will drive business growth and revenue by developing strong relationships with key customers, partners, and internal teams to ensure the success of Veeam’s solutions in the Education sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales leadership and key stakeholders to develop and execute a robust Sales Plan aimed at maximizing revenue within the Education sector.
  • Lead a cross-functional virtual team, including Inside Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and other departments, ensuring collaboration and alignment for success.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with end-user customers, understanding their IT needs and applying Veeam solutions to help them achieve their goals.
  • Proactively develop a strong sales pipeline through outbound calls, strategic prospecting, and engagement with both new and existing customers.
  • Work closely with Partners and Alliances Sales teams to drive joint sales initiatives, customer engagement, and business development opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, public sector regulations, and Veeam’s evolving product portfolio through regular training and professional development.
  • Provide accurate and timely revenue forecasts using company reporting tools, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and business objectives within the assigned Education territory.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the Education or Public Sector.
  • Strong knowledge of IT solutions, data protection, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity is highly desirable.
  • Experience in managing and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Inside Sales, Marketing, and Technical Pre-Sales.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strategic customer and partner relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales forecasting tools.
