- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close in your appointed territory
- To sell the entire range of company products and services to our current customer base within your defined territory, working cohesively with our wider operations business.
- Achieve sales objectives and field KPI’s as set by the National Sales Manager
- Focus on key activities to achieve goals as directed by the National Sales Manager
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound and inbound channels
- Deliver product demonstrations tailored to specific customer requirements.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, implementation and internal support teams.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline tracking in Salesforce CRM.
- Own ongoing account management for existing customers, leading regular business reviews to drive retention and growth.
- Sell the entire range of company services to all key areas of the veterinary market with a strong focus on cross-selling.
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitors, and product developments.
- Build & maintain strong working relationships with high profile Veterinary advocates, and with Covetrus colleagues.
- Proactively create, manage your calendar, to ensure targets are hit for new business and growth in existing account.
This is a territory-based role, however from time to time you will be required to attend trade shows, training courses, away days and team meetings, company customer facing events.
About You - Proven experience in B2B sales (preferably Veterinary or SaaS).
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business value.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and team player.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and results-driven.
- Familiarity with Microsoft software packages and CRM tools.
- Previous experience selling into the UK Veterinary Market is ideal but not essential.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and Saas software.
