The Territory Manager is responsible for selling Epicor products to prospects in a specific territory. Manages sales through forecasting,account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning.Participates in the development, presentation and sales propositions. Negotiates pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages a sales territory, vertical and/or geographical.
  • Qualifies opportunities with the aim of maximizing leads.
  • Plans and implements sales campaigns.
  • Coordinates with solution sales and professional services teams.
  • Inputs ideas and participates in marketing events.
  • Understands the business requirements of prospects and customers.
  • Provides accurate and timely sales forecasts.
  • Manages the short and medium term pipeline.
  • Maintains third party relationships.
  • Updates and maintains CRM data base and performs weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
  • for the assigned territory.
  • Some travel is expected in support of sales efforts.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Accomplished track record of selling multi-level to business, technical and IT people
  • Business application (ERP, Supply Chain and CRM)
  • Background of ERP markets and business preferred
  • Ability to quickly qualify opportunities and key strategic positions for each new project
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior management of the defined target market
