This role sits within Preqin, a part of BlackRock. Preqin plays a key role in how we are revolutionizing private markets data and technology for clients globally, complementing our existing Aladdin technology platform to deliver investment solutions for the whole portfolio.

Preqin, part of BlackRock, is hiring a postgraduate Sales Development Representative to join our London based Sales Development team. This role is designed for early career professionals who want to build a long term career in Sales, Finance, or Commercial roles, while gaining hands on exposure to private markets and institutional clients within a global financial services organisation. 

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Proactively engage prospective clients through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn 
  • Research institutions, funds, and market trends to personalise outreach 
  • Qualify interest and book meetings with senior Sales professionals 
  • Learn how Preqin’s data and insights support global investors 
  • Manage activity and pipeline in Salesforce 
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams 

 

Who This Role Is For 

  • Postgraduate candidates or early career professionals 
  • Sales experience preferred, gained through Recruitment roles, or Sales roles (B2B or B2C) 
  • Strong communicators with commercial curiosity 
  • Motivated, resilient, and comfortable working toward targets 
  • Interested in long term careers in Sales and the wider BlackRock organisation 
  • No prior financial services experience is required.

Our hybrid work model
