The Procurement Analyst supports the Software Category Manager by managing contracts, collaborating with stakeholders, onboarding products, and liaising with suppliers to negotiate cost savings.
Position Overview:
The Procurement Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the Procurement team, specifically the Software Category Manager. Key responsibilities include managing and tracking contracts and renewals, collaborating with stakeholders on new requirements and upcoming renewals, assisting in the onboarding and purchasing of new products and services, and liaising with suppliers for crucial product information (e.g., pricing, availability, and delivery timelines). They will also identify and negotiate opportunities for cost savings.
- Managing and tracking contracts and renewals
- Collaborating closely with key stakeholders on new requirements, contracts, and upcoming renewals
- Assisting in the onboarding and purchasing of new products and services
- Liaising with suppliers to obtain product information such as pricing, availability, and delivery timelines
- Identifying opportunities to negotiate terms and achieve cost savings
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Technology, Finance, Information Security, Compliance, and others to ensure adherence to the firm's vendor management policies and procedures
- Reviewing and approving invoices related to created purchase orders
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in technology procurement
- Experience working with Legal and Accounts Payable teams
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Diligent and able to think quickly in a demanding environment
