Company Description

We’re Checkout.com – you might not know our name, but companies like eBay, ASOS, Klarna, Uber Eats, and Sony do. That moment when you check out online? We make it happen.

Checkout.com is where the world checks out. Our global network powers billions of transactions every year, making money move without making a fuss. We spent years perfecting a service most people will never notice. Because when digital payments just work, businesses grow, customers stay, and no one stops to think about why.

With 19 offices spanning six continents, we feel at home everywhere – but London is our HQ. Wherever our people work their magic, they’re fast-moving, performance-obsessed, and driven by being better every day. Ideal. Because a role here isn’t just another job; it’s a career-defining opportunity to build the future of fintech.

Job Description

You will help the company understand, structure, and optimise its technology and SaaS portfolio across the business.

This role sits at the intersection of finance, technology, and governance. While security and risk are important considerations, the primary focus is visibility, cost management, and decision support: knowing what technology we use, why we use it, what it costs, and where it can be optimised.

You will provide the data and insight that enable better decisions around technology spend, renewals, and new requests. You are not an approval gatekeeper. You are the person who makes trade-offs visible.

This is an ideal role for someone early in their career with a strong analytical mindset who wants exposure to how a modern global technology organisation operates.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Building and maintaining a clear, accurate view of the company’s technology and SaaS portfolio

  • Tracking licences, usage, renewals, and spend across SaaS and technology tools

  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for technology spend

  • Identifying cost optimisation opportunities, duplication, and under-utilised tools

  • Producing clear, concise reports and insights for technology, finance, and leadership teams

  • Supporting SaaS renewals and vendor reviews with structured data and analysis

  • Providing data and context to support the intake and review of new technology requests

  • Partnering closely with Finance, Procurement, IT, and Cyber Security teams

  • Capturing basic governance context for tools (ownership, risk, security posture)

  • Helping establish lightweight, scalable standards for how new tools are introduced and reviewed

What we’re looking for

  • Early-career experience in FP&A, finance, business analysis, operations, or technology

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with numbers and structured datasets

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage complex information accurately

  • Confidence working with spreadsheets, dashboards, and reporting tools

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Curiosity about how technology and software are used across a business

  • Ability to work with stakeholders constructively without becoming a blocker

  • Some exposure to SaaS management, IT asset management, or vendor management

Useful background

  • Understanding of SaaS commercial and licensing models

  • Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, or cost allocation processes

  • Awareness of security, compliance, or risk considerations in technology environments

Bring all of you to work

We create the conditions for high performers to thrive – through real ownership, fewer blockers, and work that makes a difference from day one.

Here, you’ll move fast, take on meaningful challenges, and be recognized for the impact you deliver. It’s a place where ambition gets met with opportunity – and where your growth is in your hands.

We work as one team, and we back each other to succeed. So whatever your background or identity, if you’re ready to grow and make a difference, you’ll be right at home here.

It’s important we set you up for success and make our process as accessible as possible. So let us know in your application, or tell your recruiter directly, if you need anything to make your experience or working environment more comfortable.
