Join us as a Technology Operations Manager - NatWest Boxed

  • We’ll look to you to bring broad experience across technology domains with the objective of elevating technology operations at NatWest Boxed.
  • You’ll be managing a multi-disciplinary team of individual contributors and managers  covering incident management, delivery, technology coordination and technology reporting

What you'll do

As a Technology Operations Manager, you’ll be accountable for multiple streams including Incident management, Technology Reporting, Technology Coordination and Technology delivery projects.

You’ll collaborate with teams across the business as well as with 3rd party vendors and clients.

You’ll also be:

  • Accountable for providing visibility of multiple technology domains by utilising existing metric data to create various dashboards and views across technology
  • Managing the Incident Manager, provide coaching, mentoring and promote accountability for providing first class support and coordination for teams managing incidents
  • Establishing the operating rhythm of the Technology Leadership Team and continually assess and improve the processes and efficiency of operations
  • Managing technology delivery managers focussed specifically on complex, technology specific projects
  • Responsible for Stakeholder, Vendor and Regulator relationship management
  • Motivating a team working across different disciplines and develop them to reach their full potential

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with previous experience managing Technology Operations teams including, Incident Management teams, Technology Reporting and Technology delivery projects. You’ll also need the ability to proactively build and maintain stakeholder relationships across the business and positively influence at all levels, challenging assumptions and demonstrating the bigger picture.

In addition, you’ll need:

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • To be able to work collaboratively with a diverse group of people from individual contributors to executive leadership
  • To be a strong servant leader that seeks to get the best out of the people in their team
  • A strong bias for action and sense of ownership of your domain
