The purpose of the role is to provide assistance to the immediate team in ensuring that the organisations IT systems, processes and controls are secure, efficient and compliant with relevant regulations.

The difference you’ll make:

  • Managing the execution of audit facilitation and support across various stakeholder areas, ensuring golden source data is aligned to the audit area, delays to fieldwork are addressed directly or escalated appropriately and remediation plans are closed on time
  • Producing management reports with insight, utilising data analytics tools to analyse large datasets for anomalies or patterns that may indicate weakness or irregularities in IT systems
  • Ensuring audit process remains on track, audits are completed in a timely manner, remediation actions are closed by due dates, escalating appropriately where required
  • Preparing audit reports for internal stakeholders, such an IT management highlighting key risks and areas for improvement
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance IT processes and controls based on audit findings and industry best practices

What you’ll bring:

These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:

  • Able to manage audit engagements translating audit requests into language and artefact requests that technology partners will readily understand and action
  • Employs appropriate metrics used to enable IT governance reporting
  • Audit / Risk & Control experience, ability to probe and translate audit requests into language and artefact requests that technology partners will readily understand and action
  • Ability to Interpret and explain results of a data-gathering initiative with specific focus on read across and ensuring reporting is relevant and appropriate for senior audiences
  • Background within ‘Technology’

It would also be nice for you to have:

  • Banking/Financial Services sector experience

This is a permanent position based in Milton Keynes.

To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).

If you apply for this role in this location, it’s important you consider your travelling distance, time and cost from your home to the office location.

If both sides agree we will send your CV to the hiring manager to review. For this position, the interview process will be:–

1st Stage – Technical Interview – this will be a 30min virtual interview with one of the team

2nd Stage – A one-hour formal interview where we will ask both technical and competency-based questions. This can be done virtually or face to face depending on your situation.
