With private equity investment in 2023, and a new CEO joining the business in August 2024, we are at the start of a new chapter that will see us focus on enterprise clients in the key Financial Services and Healthcare sectors while maintaining our exceptional reputation for quality and delivery capabilities.

The role is pivotal in providing technology, partner and thought leadership both internally and externally. The organisation is in the process of scaling permanent engineering capability onshore and nearshore, and this role will have a strong influence in developing both.

This is a unique opportunity to build an important chapter for the business, and your career, as you develop and lead a high-quality, vibrant and scaling, private equity backed growth brand in the tech services sector.

Key Responsibilities

In particular, the key responsibilities are:

  1. Supporting Sales and Pre Sales activities (eg being part of a sector specific “got to market team”, along with presenting to prospective clients, building strong relationships with enterprise clients and prospects, advice and guidance on problems and helping shape engagements)
  2. Leading and Supporting Clients and Engagements (eg setting up new engagements, helping establish Client Leadership Groups, building stakeholder relationships, helping define success criteria for engagements, helping shape and guide delivery of engagements, working with Talent in sourcing and onboarding high-quality consultants, actively identifying and understanding engagement risks and issues, as well as helping to mitigate or resolve)
  3. Providing Technology Assessment and Best Practices as a service for our clients and prospects (eg building strong relationships with clients and prospects, providing assessment, due diligence, advice, guidance and becoming a trusted advisor/partner)
  4. Fostering and supporting a team of 101 Ways Practice Experts to assist in providing Tech Assessment and Best Practice Services (eg identifying and building a strong group of practice experts that are aligned with 101 Ways culture, quality and ways of working)
  5. Ensuring everyone at 101 Ways is onboarded and well versed with Tech Consulting Best Practice at 101 Ways (eg collaboratively working on tech consulting best practice, including supporting and helping our consultants)
  6. Being credible and active in the wider tech community outside of 101 Ways to ensure we are actively hearing about trends/issues, learning and contributing to the conversations. (eg proven experience in technical thought-leadership, building and maintaining a strong network, attending and speaking at events and creating content)  
  7. Provide Practice Leadership for 101 Ways and our clients (eg billable consulting, thought-leadership, practice-leadership, engagement delivery support, talent support, pre-sales support and networking)

Experience profile

  • Extensive experience in the Wealth & Asset Management sector.
  • Experience in a consultancy/consulting environment - leading and mentoring consultants
  • Experience in building, evolving and maintaining large technology platforms in enterprise businesses.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies and partner ecosystem, both in custom software development as well as the wider Azure enterprise tool set.
