As a Technologist in our Slough, UK location, you'll be part of an outstandingly talented group pushing the boundaries of life sciences. Key responsibilities:

  • Generate and detail laboratory data from experimental work, contributing to scientific projects.
  • Plan and complete assigned tasks within the required timeframe, progressively taking ownership of the laboratory environment.
  • Perform experimental work with supervision, ensuring flawless execution.
  • Collate data, review routine work, and contribute to the population of data tables.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and out-of-specification investigations as required.
  • Conduct laboratory/method housekeeping, routine instrument maintenance, and reagent/consumable stock checks.
  • Understand and align with company policies and departmental practices, as well as regulatory and statutory requirements.

Key requirements:

  • Recent graduate or 1-2 years of industry experience with proven analytical method's expertise.
  • Strong laboratory methods knowledge.
  • Good numerical skills and basic awareness of statistics.
  • Ability to strictly adhere to protocols and determine the best approach for experimental work.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
