What you'll be doing.
- Partner with plant management to ensure training accountabilities, compliance requirements, and learning standards are met.
- Deliver plant onboarding, annual refresher, Safety Transformation, and other compliance training, involving subject matter experts where needed.
- Work with stakeholders to develop, align, and continuously improve training materials, courses, methods, and delivery standards across the region.
- Evaluate training effectiveness against learning objectives and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support audits by providing accurate training system information, records, and documentation.
- Support Manufacturing leaders with standard work methods and SOP development, verification, version control, and standard work matrix management.
- Build the capability of team leaders, area operations leaders, and technical specialists to deliver effective training.
- Identify training needs and skills gaps with managers, and support employees with self-paced and online learning.
- Contribute to training and production projects, providing findings and recommendations within agreed timescales.
- Maintain technical expertise in training topics and continue developing personal training capability in line with business needs.
- Support other sites where required to meet business priorities. You will be required to travel to our sites across the UK - with occasional overnight stay.
What you'll need to be successful.
Essential:
- A technical training qualification
- A recognised training qualification or certified trainer status
- Familiarity with Standard Work Methods (SWMs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Facilitation and training design experience and strong computer skills
- Experience of relevant Production Processes
- Ability to evaluate training outcomes
- Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload
- Knowledge of Manufacturing best practice
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety best practice
