This position reports to:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Sales organisation and its customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions for the applied products and technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
- Work model: Hybrid working (2 days Coventry Office, 3 days Home Office)

  • Offering technical advice and providing comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers regarding ABB’s products/systems/applications.

  • Providing technical support during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations.

  • Performing analytics and diagnostic studies to determine the most suitable technical solution to meet the customer needs; and proposing the most suitable technical solutions for complex enquiries.

  • Delivering product and solution related training; and supporting the managers in preparing and validating the technical articles to publish.

Qualifications for the Role
  • You are highly skilled in offering technical support with Low Voltage Power Distribution solutions.

  • Ability to demonstrate your experience and advanced skills in the Low Voltage Power Distribution industry for a minimum of 5 years

  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of Power Circuit Breakers (ACB's, MCCB's), Switchgear (Switch Disconnectors, Switch Fuses, and ATS)

  • You are passionate about providing a first class experience to the customer

  • Degree or HNC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and have a demonstrated track record in providing technical solutions

  • You are at ease communicating in English

  • You hold a current driving licence valid in the UK
