DP World is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our IT team in Limassol. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and development of the company’s ICT infrastructure while ensuring efficient and reliable IT services for local users.
You will provide first- and second-level technical support to employees and play a key role in maintaining hardware, software, networks, and collaboration tools across the organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first and second level IT support for end-user devices including laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and tablets.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripheral equipment in line with company standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to servers, desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and UPS systems.
Support and maintain ICT infrastructure, including clients, network systems, telephony, and Microsoft 365.
Provide Service Desk support, responding to user requests and resolving technical incidents.
Monitor system and network activities, identifying and resolving potential issues.
Perform preventive maintenance of user equipment and IT systems.
Monitor alert notifications and escalate issues to external vendors when required.
Maintain and monitor backup and restore procedures.
Provide onsite IT support for new site launches and infrastructure upgrades.
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for critical system and network updates.
Deliver effective user support and customer service, diagnosing and resolving technical problems.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the IT function.
Promote company values and comply with health, safety, and operational policies.
Experience providing IT support in a corporate environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network systems.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, desktop support, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
A customer-focused mindset and the ability to support users at all organizational levels.
