Job Description

What’s the role

We’re looking for a Technical SEO Manager to join our SEO Product team.

The SEO Product team leverages programmatic SEO to help solve our customers’ problems at scale. We’ve built an ecosystem of scalable SEO products that help millions of potential customers make better decisions about their finances.

You’ll work in a cross-functional team with embedded engineers, a designer, a copywriter, and an analyst to run and grow the programmatic side of our multi-million-URL website.

You’ll do this by launching new and iterating on existing pages, scaling SEO platforms, and driving conversion by explaining why Wise is the right choice for customers.

We value methodical, execution-first individuals who are ambitious and thrive in the ambiguous world of SEO. Technical experience working with APIs to extract data, SQL for ad-hoc analysis, and React apps for quick fixes is a big plus.

Your mission

  • Identify, size, and prioritise new opportunities through keyword research and commercial value.

  • Understand prospective customers who they are and what they want.

  • Produce and scale high quality landing pages.

  • Work closely with engineers and designers to meet your objectives.

  • Optimise landing pages to meet business goals and deliver an excellent user experience.

  • Ensure the sites and products you manage follow SEO best practices.

  • Support the wider SEO guild and other stakeholders with business challenges requiring SEO expertise.

Qualifications

About you

  • You have solid experience in SEO, ideally with ownership of large areas or product surfaces

  • End-to-end SEO experience: from keyword research, content and technical execution, performance measurement and iteration.

  • Experience managing multiple landing page projects or SEO surfaces.

  • Strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals.

  • Experience shipping templated programmatic SEO pages

  • Understanding of the dynamics and constraints of large-scale websites (100k+ URLs)

  • Comfortable working with data, using it to quantify opportunities and measure impact.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with working with Engineers/Designers (writing PRDs etc.)

  • Experience or interest with coding
