About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical sales manager Transport with deep expertise in Ericsson transport products to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Microwave and IP technologies, combined with a robust business acumen. This role requires the ability to understand customer needs, identify new business opportunities, and translate them into efficient, scalable solutions. In this role you will support KAM organization with product and solution expertise on different levels in pre-sales, design, and delivery of customer projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with customers to identify technical requirements and underlying business drivers• Design and present customized transport solutions featuring Ericsson's Transport portfolio• Identify and pursue new business potentials within existing and prospective accounts• Serve as a technical and business advisor to support sales teams, ensuring feasibility and optimal configuration of proposed solutions• Collaborate across departments to deliver high-quality, customer-focused offerings• Ensure solutions comply with industry best practices and are scalable for future demands.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 3-4 years of substantial hands-on experience in sales/solutions at Ericsson or an equivalent company • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in both Microwave and IP technologies • 5-10 years of experience in the telecom transport market • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Science, or a related field • Languages: English, Romanian • As an advantage: proven experience engaging with MCN customers, understanding their requirements, and aligning transport solutions with their commercial and local regulatory realities• Professional certifications are an advantage.
