About the role

We are looking for a proactive Tech Recruiter to join our small but growing team. In this position, you’ll have a direct impact on building the teams that are shaping the future of enterprise data management. You’ll work closely with hiring managers to craft and execute strategies that attract top-notch technical folks in the UK and US; roles critical to our mission of empowering organisations to manage data streaming effortlessly. After recently completing our Series B, you’ll be joining us at a pivotal time in our journey; you’ll be helping to shape how we hire, enhance our candidate experience, and influence our employer branding strategy.

What will you be doing?

  • Managing the full cycle of tech recruiting from sourcing through to closing
  • Primarily recruiting Software Engineers and other technical roles within Product, Security, and R&D
  • Partnering with hiring managers to craft job descriptions, identify gaps and key skills, and develop tailored recruiting strategies
  • Building on current processes, implementing best practices, and continually iterating on how we hire to scale processes as we grow
  • Providing a personalised and engaging candidate experience throughout hiring processes
  • Helping to build out our hiring culture; we’re still early in our journey and there is a lot left to build! From employer branding to candidate experience, there is a ton of space for improvement and we’re keen to hear your ideas

What experience are we looking for?

  • You have in-house experience recruiting for technical roles
  • You’ve hired in the UK and US, and feel comfortable recruiting in both markets. You have a good understanding of the differences in approach n between the two
  • You’re a creative sourcer; at this point, LinkedIn Recruiter is basically an extension of your hands, but you also like to try different methods and do some A/B testing from time to time
  • You’re highly collaborative and enjoy sharing and bouncing ideas off team members
  • You’re data-driven, you use metrics to inform your own decisions and to influence your hiring stakeholders
  • You’ve built diverse pipelines before, and are capable of building DEI strategies into your hiring practices from the ground up
  • You’re agile. We have strong foundations but we move fast and plans can change; being able to find your way amid a bit of chaos and ambiguity will help you thrive as we scale over this next chapter of growth

Nice to have:

  • You’ve previously worked in a developer tooling start-up and are familiar with the big (and small!) players in this space
  • You’re interested in employer branding and are keen to contribute to content in the Talent space

Perks & Benefits

  • Salary: £50-70,000 depending on skills and experience
  • Stock options
  • 25 days PTO + public holidays
  • Top-tier private health insurance package
  • Learning and development allowance
  • Employee referral scheme
  • Discounted gym membership
  • Company-wide events and team socials including annual offsite
