Role Summary:

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to coordinate delivery of technical architecture and software for our cloud infrastructure and applications. In this role you will work closely with our internal teams and external partners to project manage the successful and timely delivery of new production environments and the delivery of technical change into existing environments. The successful candidate will employ their professional project management toolkit and their experience of managing substantial technical projects to the challenges of delivering success in this complex, multi-disciplinary field.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish, maintain, and communicate clear roles and lines of responsibility for projects.
  • Prepare and deliver periodic and ad-hoc reports to support awareness and decision-making throughout the business.
  • Contribute to the establishment of process and practices around change control and change management. Active management of project risk registers.
  • Construct and maintain project resource plans and delivery plans.
  • Provide practical and pragmatic governance of project issues, ensuring their correct handling and resolution.

 

Essential Experience:

  • Any relevant professional project management qualification will be considered.
  • Experience of managing significant projects in any technically complex field will be considered, with cloud infrastructure and/or a regulated industry a distinct advantage.
  • Managing external partners and reporting to executives are both considered essential experience.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle management.
  • Experience of working with teams of software producers using different development methodologies.
