Description

At Kody, we’re building something big and we need a sharp, curious and hands-on Product Manager to help us get there. You’ll be right at the heart of shaping and delivering our product experience across payments, finance, and loyalty. It’s a fast moving space and we want someone who gets a kick out of making real progress every single day.

You'll work directly with our CEO and CTO and in close partnership with engineering, customer success and commercial teams. If you're someone who gets energy from solving tough problems, diving into details and making lots of smart decisions quickly… we’d love to talk.

We’re not a place for endless specs or paper pushing. Things change fast. We ship, learn and iterate. You’ll need to own your stream of work completely i.e. why we’re doing it, what success looks like, how we build it and when it goes live.

You’ll make decisions that genuinely shape the future of Kody.

Responsibilities

    • You’ll be responsible for a full end-to-end slice of our product. From the idea on a whiteboard to something that customers use (and love), it’s yours to drive.
    • You don’t need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable talking to one. Maybe you’ve coded before, or maybe you’ve just worked really closely with technical teams.
    • You’ll talk to our users regularly, visit them and use what you learn to shape what we build next.
    • You’ll partner with stakeholders across the business to align roadmaps, communicate tradeoffs and making sure we’re always focused on what matters most.
    • You’ll plan, coordinate and execute product rollouts. That includes docs, internal comms, enablement and making sure everything is smooth post-launch.
    • You’ll use analytics and feedback to keep improving everything we do, constantly making things faster, better and more valuable.
  • About you
    • You love detail and you're not afraid of complexity
    • You’re energised by an ambitious and fast changing environment
    • You care about quality, but you don’t let perfection slow you down
    • You’re not afraid to make decisions and you’re happy being held accountable for them
    • You genuinely enjoy working with engineers and customers alike
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, spanning BOTH engineering and product management.
  • Experience working in engineering. You should have worked as an engineer before, have an engineering background, or experience tinkering with code.
  • Experience reviewing supplier contracts and writing terms and conditions
  • A drive to be on top of every tiniest detail, whilst simultaneously knowing which can wait for the next release.
  • Experience in B2B/B2B2C environments.
  • Experience in payments, FinTech, or loyalty.
  • Strong experience working with SME and/or Enterprise customers, managing relationships, etc.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, rapid-change, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and seek help when needed.
  • A passion for products and a hunger for learning and growth.
  • Must be based in the UK. Kody does not sponsor visas.
Benefits
  • Employee Share Ownership Plan (ESOP).
  • Free lunch every day in our London office.
  • Remote-first and flexible working.
  • Annual learning and development allowance.
  • Up to 25 days of holiday plus additional leave for special occasions.
  • Enhanced parental leave.
