Who We Are

Healthcare needs a better rhythm: one that keeps care continuous and deeply human. Heidi is building an AI Care Partner that works alongside clinicians to make that possible.

We’re a team of doctors, engineers, designers, researchers, and creatives building tools that help clinicians stay focused on what matters most: their patients.

In just 18 months, Heidi has given back more than 18 million hours to healthcare professionals - supporting 73 million patient visits in 116 countries. Today, more than two million patient visits each week are powered by Heidi worldwide.

Backed by nearly $100 million in funding, we’re growing in the US, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with leading health systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, and Monash Health.

What you’ll do

Own Technical Narratives for Safety & Trust

  • Develop clear, accurate messaging around Heidi’s:

    • Safety systems

    • Evaluation methodologies

    • Research findings and model behavior

  • Translate complex technical concepts into compelling, truthful narratives without oversimplifying or hype

Partner Deeply with Research & Engineering

  • Embed with safety, evals, and research teams to understand:

    • How models are trained and evaluated

    • Failure modes, edge cases, and mitigations

    • Tradeoffs and limitations

  • Act as a thought partner to researchers on how work is framed and communicated

External Credibility & Thought Leadership

  • Produce high-quality technical content such as:

    • Research summaries and explainers

    • Safety and evaluation blogs

    • Whitepapers, technical notes, and trust documentation

  • Help shape Heidi’s voice in public discussions around clinical AI safety, reliability, and evaluation

Internal Alignment & Enablement

  • Arm GTM, partnerships, and leadership with:

    • Clear explanations of how Heidi ensures safety and performance

    • Defensible, accurate language for customer and partner conversations

  • Ensure consistency across product, comms, sales, and regulatory narratives

Influence Product & Research Direction

  • Bring external perspective into internal discussions:

    • What questions customers, regulators, and clinicians are actually asking

    • Where explanations break down or create confusion

  • Help prioritise which technical work needs clearer articulation or supporting evidence

What we’re looking for
  • Strong technical fluency - you don’t need to be a researcher, but you do need to:

    • Read and understand technical docs, eval results, and research summaries

    • Ask sharp questions of engineers and researchers

  • Experience in product marketing, technical marketing, research communications, or a similar role in:

    • AI / ML

    • Developer tools

    • Infrastructure, safety, or reliability-critical systems

  • Exceptional written communication — especially for complex, nuanced topics

  • High standards for accuracy, clarity, and intellectual honesty

Bonus (but Not Required)

  • Background in ML, data science, research, or engineering

  • Experience with AI evals, benchmarks, or safety frameworks

  • Exposure to regulated or high-stakes domains (healthcare, fintech, gov, etc.)

  • Experience working closely with research or applied science teams

What Makes This Role Different
  • You’re not marketing features - you’re shaping trust

  • You’ll influence how Heidi thinks about explaining and defending its AI systems

  • You’ll operate where research rigor meets real-world impact

  • Your work will matter to clinicians, partners, and regulators - not just clicks or pipelines

Why you should join Heidi 🚀
  • Real product momentum. We’re not trying to generate interest, we’re channeling it.

  • Equity from day one. When Heidi wins, you win. You’ll share directly in the success you help create.

  • Unmatched impact. Play a pivotal role in defining and scaling customer success at a critical growth moment - all while working on a product that delivers tangible value to clinicians and patients every day.

  • Work alongside world-class talent. Join a team of operators and builders who’ve scaled unicorns.

  • Global reach. Help shape our international expansion as we bring Heidi to key international markets.

  • Growth and balance. Enjoy a £500 personal development budget, dedicated wellness days, and your birthday off to recharge.

  • Flexibility that works. A hybrid environment, with 3 days in the office.

Heidi’s commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Heidi is dedicated to creating an equitable, inclusive, and supportive work environment that brings people together from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Our strength is in our differences. We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are proud to welcome all applicants as we're committed to promoting a culture of opportunity for all.
