Our platform orchestrates millions of real-time decisions across homes, devices, markets and grids. By combining predictive algorithms with human-centred design, Kaluza makes clean energy dependable, affordable and adaptive to everyday life.

With teams across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia, and a joint venture with Mitsubishi Corporation in Japan, we power leading companies including OVO, AGL and ENGIE, as well as innovators like Volvo and Volkswagen.

At Kaluza we embrace a flexible, hybrid work model that balances autonomy with the power of in-person connection. Many of our teams find value in coming together regularly to collaborate, strengthen relationships, and accelerate progress. We’re focused on shaping thoughtful, team-driven approaches that support both business impact and individual well-being.

Where in the world of Kaluza will I be working

You will be working within Kaluza’s Global Enterprise Experiences Platform area, in the Agent Platform Team, which builds and maintains the core frontend platform, frameworks and shared components that enable scalable, high-performing experiences for customer service agents across all client markets.

As the Product Manager for our Agent Platform team, your role is to shape how  engineering teams and vendors build around and contribute into the Kaluza Platform. Your mission spans from developer experience, to vendor integration and energy retailer customisation.

This team is pivotal to Kaluza's strategy of providing a scalable global platform for energy retailers to optimize their operations, achieve leading customer and customer support agent experiences, and innovate as they navigate the energy transition.

You’ll love this role if you enjoy digging in to current front end developer experience and technical delivery, and building product solutions to improve them

The successful candidate will bring strong analytical judgement and exceptional communication skills, able to clearly articulate technical decisions, manage complex dependencies across teams and provide crisp, structured updates that align internal and external developers on priorities. They will be able to ruthlessly prioritise a diverse set of needs while ensuring all stakeholders understand the rationale behind trade-offs.

What will I be doing?

As the Product Manager for the Agent Platform team, your work will influence how we scale globally, accelerate implementations and create an experience that developers love to work with.

You will:

  • Define a product strategy for the Agent Platform and translate this into a clear, prioritised one year roadmap with well framed strategic bets and trade-offs
  • Build and articulate a long term vision for developer experience, platform extensibility and ecosystem growth across all markets we serve
  • Lead product discovery and delivery with engineering, design and data, ensuring solutions are technically sound, commercially viable and valuable for energy retailers
  • Drive cross-team alignment with Kaluza product and engineering teams including Billing and Payment, Customer Care,  Identity, Data and more to manage and map dependencies, resolve sequencing challenges and guide teams through complex delivery landscapes
  • Own the operating model for how internal teams and client engineering teams build on and contribute to the platform. This includes defining governance, technical standards, documentation expectations, integration patterns and the ways of working that ensure consistency, reusability and efficient delivery across all markets.
  • Define and champion reusability principles across core, localisation and client specific layers to reduce duplication and lower cost to serve
  • Partner closely with cross-domain teams to ensure the needs of current and future markets are reflected in the platform strategy
  • Radiate progress through clear narrative updates, decision framing and transparent communication to internal stakeholders, senior leaders and client technical teams
  • Use data to measure platform adoption, performance and cycle-time improvements and ensure these insights drive continuous improvement

Is this the job for me?

You are the right person for us if you:

  • Have deep experience shaping platform or development strategy experience at scale and understand what it takes to build an extensible, multi-tenant product used by internal and external engineering teams
  • Can define a compelling long term product vision and translate it into a practical, evidence-led roadmap that balances ambition with delivery reality
  • Are confident influencing senior stakeholders including engineering leads, commercial teams, client partners and cross-functional leaders to align priorities and navigate complex trade-offs
  • Are skilled at guiding multi-team delivery and enjoy the challenge of dependency mapping, sequencing work, resolving constraints and building effective governance
  • Understand API design principles, lifecycle management and how platform standards create a consistent and reliable environment for all teams building on Kaluza’s frontend platform.
  • Bring a data centred approach to defining problems,  measuring value and improving platform adoption, prioritisation and developer productivity
  • Excel at storytelling through written and visual communication and can adapt your message for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Thrive in a fast-moving environment and can make progress even when information is incomplete or the domain is complex
  • Are highly collaborative, comfortable working with both internal Kaluza teams and external technical partners and client engineering groups
  • Care deeply about the clean energy transition and want to contribute to a platform that supports decarbonisation at global scale
