Technical Product Manager - Automation & AIWe are Manufacturing the Future!

Geomiq is revolutionising traditional manufacturing by giving engineers instant access to reliable production methods through our digital platform.

As the UK’s leading Digital Manufacturing Marketplace, we provide an AI-powered Manufacturing-as-a-Service solution connecting buyers and suppliers. Headquartered in London, with teams in India, China and Portugal, we work with brands including BMW, Rolls-Royce, Brompton Bicycle and Google.

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Product Manager to transform how work gets done across Geomiq using automation, data and AI.

This is not a traditional roadmap and requirements role. You will work directly with teams across sales, operations, supply chain, finance and product to understand business workflows, identify high-value problems and build practical solutions yourself.

You will use n8n, APIs, SQL, Python or JavaScript, and large language models to create automations, internal tools and AI agents that remove manual work and improve decision-making.

You should be comfortable accessing data independently, reading API documentation, connecting systems and moving quickly from an initial problem to a working solution.

Main responsibilitiesWorkflow discovery and product thinking
  • Map workflows across people, systems, data and approvals.

  • Identify repetitive tasks, bottlenecks, duplicated work and manual handovers.

  • Redesign inefficient processes before automating them.

  • Prioritise opportunities based on business value, feasibility and risk.

  • Define clear measures of success.

Automation and AI
  • Build and maintain workflows using n8n.

  • Connect databases, internal systems, SaaS tools, APIs, webhooks and AI models.

  • Develop AI tools and agents using GPT, Claude, Gemini or similar models.

  • Use structured outputs, tool calling, retrieval and human approval steps where appropriate.

  • Build error handling, monitoring, auditability and documentation into each solution.

Data and technical delivery
  • Use SQL to investigate problems, validate assumptions and measure results.

  • Read API documentation and work with authentication, endpoints, payloads and rate limits.

  • Use Python or JavaScript for custom logic and data transformation.

  • Build prototypes using real workflows and data.

  • Test solutions with users and embed successful tools into day-to-day operations.

  • Work with engineering when deeper platform changes are required.

What success looks like
  • Manual work and repetitive tasks are reduced.

  • Important workflows become faster and more reliable.

  • Teams have better access to data and information.

  • Automations are adopted and used consistently.

  • AI tools produce measurable improvements in revenue, margin, customer experience or operational performance.

Experience required
  • Hands-on experience building business automations using n8n, Make, Zapier or a similar platform.

  • Strong understanding of business and operational workflows.

  • Experience integrating systems using APIs, webhooks and databases.

  • Strong SQL skills and the ability to analyse data independently.

  • Working knowledge of Python or JavaScript.

  • Experience building with LLMs, AI agents, structured outputs or RAG workflows.

  • Ability to turn ambiguous problems into working solutions.

  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.

  • High levels of ownership, curiosity and resourcefulness.

Experience in SaaS, marketplaces, manufacturing technology or complex B2B environments would be beneficial.

We care more about what you have built and the impact it created than your previous job title.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary.

  • 23 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays.

  • An additional day off for your birthday.

  • Stocked kitchen with snacks, fruit and drinks.

  • Pet-friendly office.

  • Regular team events.

  • Career development and internal progression.

  • Cycle to Work scheme.
