About Verve

At Verve, we’re redefining how insight works in an AI-powered world — combining Human, Cultural and Artificial Intelligence to help clients act with greater speed and confidence.

Through Verve Vero — our AI-powered platform and consultancy ecosystem — we build AI-enabled insight tools, simulations and models that bring human truth into the heart of decision-making. From Verve Intelligent Personas & Simulations to bespoke solutions grounded in client data, everything we create is designed to enable confident decisions of consequence with real-world impact.

Our work spans categories and continents, helping global brands navigate complex challenges — from innovation and brand strategy to customer experience and future planning. We combine deep human understanding with AI to deliver insight that is faster, more scalable, and more actionable.

This is a hands-on environment. We move quickly, test and learn, and continuously build and refine the tools that power our work. Curiosity, experimentation and practical application sit at the heart of how we operate.

About the Role

If you’re looking for a high-impact role at the forefront of AI and insight – this is it.

As Technical Product Manager (AI) in the R&D Lab, you’ll be hands-on bringing ideas to life – experimenting, testing emerging tech, and rapidly prototyping new Vero tools and processes, while improving the ones we already have.

We’re looking for someone who combines hands-on technical capability with the ability to manage projects end-to-end — working closely with R&D team members and internal stakeholders to build solutions that are practical, scalable, and fit for both consumers and businesses.

Your Contribution

  • Identify and prioritise opportunities to improve or create Vero tools and processes
  • Rapidly prototype and run fast, lightweight experiments
  • Translate successful prototypes into production-ready solutions

What you’ll bring

  • A technical background with hands-on Python experienceComputer Science degree (or similar) preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of AI concepts and infrastructure – APIs, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, MCP, vector embeddings, agentic pipelines
  • Interest or experience in applying AI to product development or improving ways of working
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams – product, dev, marketing, and more
  • Ability to deeply understand problems from the user’s perspective – not just a from a technical POV
  • A clear, confident communicator - able to explain complex technical ideas simply and align teams around them
  • Ability to manage a project from start to finish - working with others, meeting deadlines, and prioritising tasks
  • A growth mindset  you’re comfortable with ambiguity, take initiative without waiting for detailed direction, and thrive in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments

Bonus points for

  • Experience in the market research sector
  • Experience building AI tools to improve business processes – especially if you’ve run early-stage experiments or created rapid prototypes using low/no-code platforms (e.g. Lovable)
  • Experience building modern web apps (e.g. using React, Typescript)

What we offer

  • Exposure to cutting-edge AI tools and thinking – practical, not theoretical
  • Working at the intersection of product, tech, consultancy and clients
  • Fast-paced, agileempowering environment
  • Autonomy to test, learn and influence how things get built
  • Collaborating with an ambitious global team solving real-world problems
  • UK-based. Hybrid – work from our Manchester or London Hub at least once per month.

If you’re excited by the opportunity to help shape the future of AI-empowered consultancy – by building tools that move fast, work hard, and make a real difference – we’d love to hear from you.
