We're looking for a Technical Presales Engineer to help us influence client technology decisions worldwide with Rossum’s AI-powered solutions. Your mission will be to provide strategic technical advisory to prospects, customers, and Rossumers, playing an instrumental role in securing sales wins by owning the technical journey from discovery to proof of concept.
You'll help us with the following questions and challenges:How can we best understand complex customer processes and design tailored solutions using Rossum's platform?
What are the most effective ways to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders, translating features into clear business value?
How can we provide strategic feedback to our product teams, influencing future development with real-world customer needs?
You'll be responsible for:
Providing strategic technical advisory to prospects and customers throughout the sales cycle.
Running in-depth technical discovery sessions to understand customer needs and map out complex processes.
Designing and implementing end-to-end proofs of concept that demonstrate Rossum’s solutions.
Delivering compelling and customized presentations and demos, focusing on value rather than just features.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Research, Services, Management) to find answers, provide customer feedback, and influence product development.
Hacking small scripts or adjusting configurations to achieve optimal solutions, and independently finding answers to technical challenges.

In this role, you'll have a direct impact on customer decisions, significantly contributing to Rossum's global success by translating our cutting-edge AI into tangible business benefits.
You'll work closely with the GTM (Go-To-Market) organization to secure sales wins, and collaborate with Product, Research, and Services teams to provide strategic feedback that influences product development.
You'll also have the opportunity to influence the development of an innovative AI product and directly contribute to building our presales practice from the ground up.
You should apply if:You have experience in a customer-facing role, running in-depth technical discovery and designing solutions for complex customer processes.
You are an amazing presenter, able to customize presentations and demos to effectively convey value.
You are value-oriented, prioritizing customer needs over feature lists, and can walk customers through a compelling story.
You are technically savvy, capable of explaining complex technical concepts simply, with an understanding of architecture and integration.
You are happy to "hack" a small script in Python or play with configuration files, and can independently find answers to technical questions online.
You either have experience with artificial intelligence or the strong will and ability to learn basic AI concepts.
You are an independent, self-driven individual and a fast learner, comfortable with ambiguity and continuous iterative improvement.
You have excellent English communication and writing skills; other foreign languages are a plus.
You are honest and transparent, basing opinions on data but open to strong arguments.
