Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead the execution, automation, and optimisation of on-platform promotions and push notifications to drive user engagement.

  • Develop and implement lifecycle UA strategies to boost user retention, re-engagement, and monetisation across key European markets (UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain).

  • Improve monetisation efficiency by driving central initiatives that boost In-App Purchase (IAP) revenue growth.

  • Use Samsung’s internal UA tools to craft data-driven campaigns, bringing to bear user behavior, preferences, and engagement insights.

  • Work closely with data and marketing teams to enhance personalisation algorithms, segmentation, and A/B testing for better targeting.

  • Manage content curation and scheduling, ensuring dynamic updates and personalised recommendations to enhance user experience.

  • Analyse real-time campaign data to refine engagement strategies and improve performance, delivering regular reports and insights.

  • Optimise the user journey, integrating on-platform experiences within Samsung’s broader gaming ecosystem for a seamless experience.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, tapping into advancements in AI, automation, and marketing technology to improve engagement strategies.

What we need for this role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience in Technical Operations, Product Curation, or Lifecycle Marketing, preferably within gaming, entertainment, or digital platforms.

  • HTML proficiency is essential.

  • Fluency in German is highly preferred.

  • Strategic approach, with a strong focus on driving user engagement, retention, and monetisation through effective UA campaigns.

  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation and audience targeting tools to enhance campaign performance.

  • Data-driven approach, with expertise in user segmentation, A/B testing, and personalised content recommendations.

  • Experience in content curation and working cross-functionally with content, product, and marketing teams to optimise user experiences.

  • Strong collaborator management skills, working with game publishers to understand their needs, prioritize content, and align with business goals.

  • Excellent problem-solving, task management, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of gaming user behaviour is a plus.

  • Driving key KPIs in user acquisition, engagement, and OOBE, ensuring measurable growth and impact for Samsung mobile users.

  • Increasing user growth, session duration, and engagement frequency, leading to a higher Gaming Hub activation rate and improved Instant Plays stickiness.

  • Proactive and innovative mindset, embracing efficiency, creativity, and agility, while driving impact in a fast-paced global tech environment.

  • Seamless collaboration and communication with game publishers and internal service teams, ensuring alignment, optimisation, and successful execution.

  • Expanding service engagement and strengthening Samsung’s gaming ecosystem through strategic initiatives and data-driven decision-making.

The interview process

The interview process will assess your knowledge, experience, and suitability for the role, including your ability to handle pressure, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves international travel across Europe, Suwon, and the US. You’ll be expected to work onsite in our Covent Garden office (London) three days a week (Tuesday–Thursday) and occasionally attend meetings and courses at Samsung UK Office in Chertsey.
