Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Anduril’s Deployment Operations team is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer to join our London office.
As a member of Anduril’s UK-based Technical Operations team, you will be responsible for deploying and supporting Anduril’s products across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and beyond. You will go forward with products early on in their lifecycle and work with engineering teams to iteratively improve them over time. The challenges you will encounter are innumerable and unpredictable, but you will be expected to take ownership of delivering the technical solution.
You must be both a teacher and a student, able to coach teammates on systems that you’ve gained intimate familiarity with and then transition into mastering the next system. You’ll also guide users through product employment and troubleshooting, advise account managers on how to structure an operation to ensure technical success, and communicate specific recommendations for product refinement to engineering teams. Often serving as the first line of defence for product issues, you will rely on your familiarity with software-defined systems to remotely triage and resolve incidents, and thrive in a fast paced working environment.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to gather requirements from end-users. Communicate and teach complex subjects with clarity and simplicity.
  • Able to build trust cross-functionally, navigate customer hierarchies, and influence teams in a peer-leadership capacity.
  • Proven ability to master a technical system and support it in austere environments. Must demonstrate an innate drive to be self-sufficient across the breadth of a technical system.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix OS. Comfortable obtaining data from software platforms using command-line tools.
  • Strong ability to solve problems in unstructured situations at the interface of hardware, software, and networking.
  • Ability to drive challenging and vague technical problems to clarity and resolution.
  • Naturally inquisitive, able to independently research and learn new technical components or concepts.
  • Enjoy a cohesive working environment as a team player, with a desire to prioritise group goals over individual aspirations.
  • Ability to develop complex operational and logistics plans to move people and things quickly, over long distances, in unfamiliar locations.
  • Ability to remain flexible with daily working hours to accommodate international time zones.
  • Willingness to travel to remote regions of the world for up to two months at a time.
  • Effective time management in a fast-paced work environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior military or overseas contracting experience.
  • Hold and maintain UK Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance with an active sponsor.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with tools and electronics.
  • Understanding of cyber threat vectors in high risk travel environments.
