At Fuse, we’re building the most advanced vertically integrated renewable energy company in the world - one that generates, trades, and supplies power directly to customers. The finance team sits at the heart of that mission, designing systems that connect the flow of electrons with the flow of capital.

We’re looking for a Technical Finance Product Lead to build our finance infrastructure from the ground up, automating everything from FP&A and management accounts to invoice ingestion, payments, and reconciliations. You’ll prototype and deploy high-impact internal tools, integrate data across our systems, and create the infrastructure that powers Fuse’s financial engine. You’ll work closely with the Head of Finance and the engineering team to build solutions that scale as we grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom finance systems and data pipelines from scratch.
  • Integrate with existing internal and external systems (banking, accounting, trading, HRIS).
  • Automate finance workflows: FP&A models, management accounts, payments, invoice recognition (AI-powered), and reporting.
  • Rapidly prototype and deploy tools that solve complex operational challenges.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and finance team members to implement scalable, secure, and reliable systems.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of technical finance products that materially improve performance and control.
  • Lead continuous improvement of our internal finance stack as Fuse expands across markets and products.

Requirements
  • STEM background (Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, or similar).
  • 2–5 years of experience in a technical role in a startup, fintech, or finance-driven business.
  • Strong coding and data skills. Comfortable designing systems, building APIs, and automating workflows.
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, system integrations, and finance workflows.
  • Comfortable designing from zero, iterating quickly, and delivering production-ready tools.
  • High intellectual curiosity and desire to deeply understand how a business operates.
  • Exceptional problem-solving ability and bias toward action.
  • Extremely high work ethic. This is an intense, hands-on role in a fast-moving environment.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary and a stock options sign-on bonus
  • Biannual bonus scheme
  • Fully expensed tech to match your needs!
  • Paid annual leave
  • Breakfast and dinner for office based employees
