We have an exciting opportunity to join our IT Delivery Team as a Technical Business Analyst!
You’ll be part of a team that drives technology‑enabled change by aligning business needs with robust, scalable solutions. As a Technical Business Analyst, you’ll bridge requirements and technical delivery, applying best‑practice analysis and leveraging your technical expertise to shape future‑ready solutions. Reporting to the IT Portfolio Manager, you’ll collaborate across disciplines to ensure initiatives deliver strategic value.

Where will I make an impact?
- Project Scope & Business Needs: Define project scope, high‑level requirements, and critical success factors; contribute to business case development; investigate and clarify business needs, identifying underlying issues and opportunities.
- Requirements Management & Documentation: Own the quality and timely delivery of business requirements; document functional specifications; maintain robust change control; develop and maintain use case documentation and process models (e.g., Visio).
- Traceability & Testing: Ensure requirements are designed, built, and tested in line with business needs through traceability and version control; define acceptance criteria; support testing activities including test plan and script reviews.
- Governance & Methodologies: Adhere to Covéa’s delivery and development methodologies, governance, and change framework; embed compliance and consistency across all analysis activities.
- Collaboration & Best Practices: Monitor and report Business Analysis progress to stakeholders; collaborate with the BA Principal and Lead BA to embed and evolve best practices; escalate risks and issues related to analysis activities.
- Knowledge Management: Support the development of a Delivery Centre knowledge repository, including processes, specifications, and training guides to strengthen organizational learning.
What will help you stand out?
- Previous experience working in regulated environments, applying analysis techniques to clarify complex problems, and using tools such as Confluence, Jira, and process modelling applications.
- Strong understanding of the Business Analyst role, underpinned by technical knowledge of systems, platforms, and integrations.
- Proficient in use case development, process and data modelling, documenting functional specifications, and producing modelling documentation using Visio.
- Skilled in analytical thinking, reporting, technical writing, and artefact management including reviews, walkthroughs, sign‑off, versioning, and change control.
- Knowledgeable in system architecture, covering databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and integration patterns, with the ability to ensure requirements are delivered effectively through traceability, show‑and‑tell sessions, design and test reviews, and solution performance measurement.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non‑technical audiences effectively
