Lead design and delivery of scalable Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing) solutions. Define architecture, run technical design sessions, oversee integrations, code/configuration reviews, and mentor developers while ensuring compliance, security, and alignment with quote-to-cash and subscription billing processes.
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect with expertise in Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing) to join our team. In this role, you will define and maintain architectural frameworks, lead technical design sessions, and ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and compliant solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal teams, guiding the implementation of complex quote-to-cash processes while mentoring developers and junior architects on Salesforce best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain architectural frameworks, standards, and best practices for Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing).
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable Revenue Cloud solutions, ensuring adaptability, security, and compliance.
- Lead technical design sessions and guide development teams on Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration.
- Evaluate and select appropriate Salesforce features and third-party tools for Revenue Cloud implementations.
- Oversee solution delivery to ensure adherence to architectural standards and project timelines.
- Provide technical leadership in CPQ and Billing implementations, including pricing models, quote-to-cash processes, and subscription management.
- Conduct code and configuration reviews for Salesforce components.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and Revenue Cloud innovations; advise on adoption strategies.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define budgets, timelines, and technical scope.
- Assess business impact of architectural decisions on revenue operations and customer experience.
- Mentor developers and junior architects on Salesforce best practices and Revenue Cloud capabilities.
Requirements
Requirements & Competencies
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect or similar role with Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing).
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing quote-to-cash solutions in Salesforce.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Industries CPQ, subscription billing, and revenue recognition processes.
- Experience with API integrations, middleware, and ERP connectivity.
- Understanding of DevOps for Salesforce, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Salesforce CORE Cloud technical capabilities (Customer Data Platform, MuleSoft Integration, OmniStudio, Einstein Analytics).
- Agile project experience and ability to work in fast-paced SaaS environments.

- Deep understanding of Salesforce Revenue Cloud architecture and best practices.
- Ability to design scalable CPQ and Billing solutions for complex pricing and subscription models.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders.

Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Salesforce certifications
Salesforce Certified Revenue Cloud Consultant
Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), or CPQ Specialist preferred.
