What will I be doing?

  • Technical Escalation & Support: Provide first-class customer service to Kaluza’s internal teams, acting as a key escalation point for complex technical requests and hardware diagnostics.
  • Platform Administration: Own the administration and health of core productivity tools, including Google Workspace, Slack, and the Atlassian suite (Jira/Confluence).
  • Identity & Access Management: Manage identity and SSO workflows through Okta, ensuring secure and seamless access for our global workforce.
  • Fleet Management: Oversee the configuration and deployment of our predominantly macOS hardware fleet, maintaining high standards for device security and performance.
  • Process Engineering: Proactively identify opportunities to improve Tech Services workflows, creating and maintaining high-quality documentation for internal processes and user self-service.
  • Infrastructure & Events: Support the technical requirements of office-based events and town halls, including AV management and local networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN
  • AI Innovation: Contribute to the safe adoption of AI tools across the business, helping colleagues leverage new technologies effectively and securely.

About You

Ideally you’ll have/be

  • Experienced Specialist: Proven experience in a 2nd or 3rd line technical support role within a fast-paced, modern tech environment.
  • Platform Expert: Deep proficiency in macOS administration, Google Workspace management, and Okta (or similar IAM platforms).
  • Communication Guru: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for a non-technical audience.
  • Problem Solver: A creative approach to troubleshooting, with a focus on "solving the real problem" rather than just the immediate symptom.
  • Adaptable & Driven: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities while maintaining a high level of technical accuracy and customer empathy.

What will set you apart 

  • Advanced Atlassian Skills: Experience building custom workflows and managing complex permissions within Jira Service Management.
  • AI Governance Interest: A passion for emerging AI technologies and an understanding of how to implement them safely in a corporate environment.
  • Automation Mindset: Experience using scripts or API integrations to automate repetitive IT tasks.
