Tech Lead | Hybrid - Warwick | Permanent
At Cooper Solutions, part of PIB Group, we're a specialist provider of digital solutions for the automotive industry, and proud of it. Our cloud-based software is trusted by around 2,500 UK automotive retailers to improve performance, profitability and customer experience. We're a close-knit team of 30, and we're looking for a Tech Lead who wants real influence over how we design and deliver the products our customers rely on.
What you will be doing:
- Lead and mentor the development team through code reviews, pair programming and day-to-day collaboration
- Take ownership of solution design and architecture, driving engineering standards across the team
- Stay hands-on with coding, particularly on complex or business-critical work
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into practical technical solutions
- Support continuous improvement across delivery, team capability, and technical governance
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in a Tech Lead, Lead Developer or equivalent senior role
- Strong hands-on background with AWS, .NET / C# and SQL Server
- Solid grasp of software architecture, design principles and code quality standards
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience delivering in Agile or similar environments
Nice to have
- Experience modernising legacy systems or platforms
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices and release processes
- Experience coordinating offshore development teams
- Experience using AI tools for assisted development
