The Role

We are seeking an organised and proactive Team Personal Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to our Private Markets area.

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, efficient with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.

You will provide executive level support to members of the Private Markets area, providing cover for colleagues where required. The role will ensure the smooth management of colleagues’ working days and help to maximise the most effective use of their time, handling sensitive and complex tasks in a professional manner.

This is a 12 Month FTC position reporting into the Private Markets PA Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the PA Administration Team whilst also providing support to the Impact & Private Equity department
  • Working with the other Team PA’s across Private Markets within the PA Admin Team to ensure consistent support across Private Markets
  • Support the Head of Private Equity and the wider team on day to day basis with diaries and complex meetings where required
  • Extensive travel management on behalf of the PE Team – both domestic and international
  • Assist with the support of key committees within the Private Markets business, such as Investment Committees ensuring timely bookings and delivery of papers
  • Collate and distribute papers for monthly/quarterly or annual Team meetings
  • Provide secretarial and administration support to the I&PE department
  • Organise and support all I&PE and Private Market specific meetings
  • Client liaison regarding meetings/appropriate information requests, as required
  • Expenses and invoice management
  • Organise Team events, as required
  • Keep up to date with technology advancements and share with the I&PE Team (Dealcloud)
  • Check TAP/ / Intranet/Teams on a frequent basis to keep I&PE informed of company-wide initiatives and information

Key Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record in providing high quality support to senior individuals at ExCom / Board level
  • Proactive with a friendly, “can do” attitude
  • Experienced in handling sensitive and confidential information/matters
  • Confident to work autonomously, with initiative, ‘managing upwards’ as required
  • Experienced in supporting a large number of colleagues across a broad range of teams
  • Ability to prioritise demanding workloads and to juggle multiple competing priorities
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Knowledge of or a willingness to learn the Private Markets business processes and systems
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft applications e.g. Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Copilot. Experience with Dealcloud desirable.
